Hardy heron Compatibility with Compiz Fusion

I am running Kubuntu Gusty Gibbon(7.10) with Compiz Fusion, and I was wondering whether if when i upgrade to Hardy Heron all my compiz settings and effects will still be available and working the same as it is now. I remember having to go through the setup process and it was hectic. I just don't want to have to go through that once again. So I want to make sure that is I upgrade to hard Heron(the final release) if it will effect my Compiz Settings and effects.

Compiz keeps it's settings in your /home directory which isn't affected by an upgrade, so you should be OK.

Even if it did get messed up do you think it will all be the same as with gusty, features and settings wise?

Depending on the current version in Gutsy's repos, the settings manager may have a few additional choices but will be very much the same.

and after the final release comes out will there be any major upgrades that might change this?
