    SoundKonverter and Mp3 (Resolved)

    Hi all,

Can someone help me, seems I'm doing some wrong.
When I try ton convert a mp3 to a wav, in simple mode, when I try to select the files the only supported files is wav, ogg and vw. If I select all formats it sows the mp3 files, i click on one and say add and nothing happen?
    Can someone please advise!

Did you install kubuntu-restricted-extras package? There are many proprietary codecs (like MP3) in there.
In a world without windows and fences who needs Gates?

Yeah, you need this package or at least a package called "lame" to get it to work. You can use adept_installer ("install/remove packages" from K menu) and click "any suite" then to a search for "codec" and install other codec packages that let you use and manipulate lots of audio/video formats that are not usable with a base install.
