    [KDE 4]Beep when changing desktop

Every time I change desktops (whether by pager, shortcut, or any other reason), KDE makes a really irritating beep. I can't tell whether it's error or an informational message, but I want it gone!

You might try to go into System Settings and click on the Notifications icon under Look & Feel. The screen should default to System Notifications. Make sure that the Applications tab is set and select The KDE Window Manager option under Event Source. You should be able to change/remove the sound for the Change to Desktop. It looks like you will have to do it for each desktop. Hope that helps.
