    kicker

    How do I make kicker run each time I boot the system? I have to alt>F2 to get it to run

    Do you mean your panel disappeared? Or never was there?

      After the boot is complete and the desktop is in place the kicker panel is not at the bottom of the screen. I have to alt>f2 to get it.

        and after you "Alt+F2" it doesn't disappear anymore if you don't log out?

          With the panel showing, right-click on it and select Configure Panel...
          Click Hiding and ensure that under Hide Mode you only have Only hide when a panel-hiding button is clicked checked and that you don't have anything checked under Panel-Hiding Buttons
          Windows no longer obstructs my view.

            Hiding was not checked. I unchecked the animation choice.
