KDE 4.1 Pre?

How do I get the pre release of KDE 4.1 installed on Kubuntu? I've read references to the KDE 4.1 Pre on on other forums.

I assume this would be the SVN.. (I'm not even sure what SVN stands for) but I don't know how to get the SVN build installed and updated... Is there more info that I could take a look at?

yeah, opensuse's kde4 packages are updated much more often. its prolly cuz jon riddell is the only person paid to work on kubuntu.
