Firefox 3 blocking image

Some image on web sites show up as black block, I've to right click 'view image' to see it, but I did not block any image, any idea ?

Okay, well my swiftweasel renders that site just fine. FF3 latest has the same issue as you pointed out on my steup. FF 3 default, flash lpgins work fine.

The image that is blacked out is a normal jpeg so it should render.

Don't know. I will not be using ff3 until last beta or release so no issue for me.

I also experience this problem. Some pictures display others don't. No rhyme or reason to this as far as I can see.
If I need to see the pictures, I just use Konqueror to open the page.

Hope they will fix this soon.

I'm also getting this problem on forums. But now I've gone back to Firefox 2 I can see the pics fine.

Pics that are hosted on normal sites (eg www.mysite.com/images/pic.jpg) seem to load up fine in FF3.

If it's hosted on Photobucket for example, it won't display. Some images seem to load the botton bit but the rest is black. I've no idea what's going on there!

I can see some posters' banner sigs, but others seem to be blacked out. Konqueror displays them just fine and if I right click them to check properties they're all JPEGs but hosted on picture sites. If I right click and hit view image, the picture will load up fine in the new window, but the one in the forum is still blacked out.

I didn't have any adblocking or any other plugins installed when that was happening.

Same problem i'm having but being a beta i'm expecting glitches like this. I'm sure it will be resolved in the release version.

I have this too, though I found out that when you click and drag the mouse on such a black block the picture will pop up and get dragged around... if you let go the mouse it will animate/pop back into/under the black box... weird..

I found that when you right click the picture and then select 'view picture' it displays just fine - on a separate page. But at least you know what the picture is all about. Otherwise, Konqueror does the trick.
