IRC program for Kubuntu 8.04 KDE4 alpha 6

Hello,

Since there is no Konversation for KDE4 yet, what other irc program can I use?

I tried installing xchat from the add/remove programs link in the panel, but that didn't do much ... It seemed to install ok, but I can't even find xchat in the panel.

Ok, so when i used the search function, I could find xchat ... but how can I make a link to it ?

I am running Hardy 8.04 a6 also. I installed X-Chat and it shows up in the Apps->Internet area. However, I have found that I need to log-out and log-in again to get newly installed apps to show in the menu.

Have you tried that?
