I get this loud noise in KDE4 when I close a program or window or just moving around in the menus sometimes. I have shut off every alert or sound I can find in system settings and every where else I can find any. I don't have my volume very high but the booming sound is loud. It is so bad I can only stay in KDE4 a short time before my wife starts to complain. Can't have that. Anybody got any ideas how I can stop this. Other than turning my speakers off which I have done some.
