I wanted to try kde-core so i loaded the alpha 5 alternative iso in Vbox and installed it but it looks like i got the whole package.

No not kde4-core. Isnt there a way to install kde-core instead of kde-desktop on the hardy alpha alternative cd's, i read the live cd's only install kde-desktop thats why i got the alternate.. I just wanted to see what it came with.Kubuntu Gutsy Gibbon - Registered Linux User--> # 15709Comment
