Seems if you want plugins you go with Firefox 3. But hardly any add-ons. I miss my add-ons... Add-ons won't install in Firefox 2 I guess 'cause it's not where it normally is supposed to be. That'd be because that's where Firefox 3 is but there aren't hardly any add-ons for it yet. Dang it.

Re: A Firefox that has add-ons.
I am not using FF* and won't until beta1000 or release because the add-ons arent updated to the cureent version of FF3
I wish Kubuntu hadn't done this to us.
I installed swiftweasel after my experiences with FF3:
http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3091481.0
it works fine and a bit faster than FF2. Plus it puts its profile in the ./mozilla/swiftfox folder so it doesn't touch the firefox folder
to install swiftweasel:

I hope this helpsHP Pavilion dv6 core i7 (Main)

Re: A Firefox that has add-ons.
You can get your add-on to work in FF3. You just have to use the Nightly Tester Tools add-on so you can make them compatible. I have found that most of the add-ons work fine after doing this and only a few have had issues.
