Create a feature that would allow an administrator to temporarily disable installed software, instead of completely removing it from the system. That way, if he realizes he made a mistake, he won't have to re-download and install it. Rather, simply restoring the software would be enough.
My idea would be to pack the software and its config files into a restorable archive, which could then be placed in the admin's trash folder, or the like. Then, create an application with the ability to restore the archived file to its previous state, like restoring a deleted file from the trash folder.
