After installing a couple of CIFS shares (originally SMB shares), my Kubuntu 8.04 systgem has a lot of difficulty in shutting down. Here are the principal messages I get:
The system hangs on these messages for a couple of minutes and then shuts down. Since I had to copy them by hand (they don't show up in any logfiles), I may not have them exactly right.
