Wireless WEP problems. WPA2 works ok but no WEP.

I'm using Kubuntu 8.04 on my new tiny Asus Eee PC 900 laptop. I'm using WPA2 on my home network and it works fine with madwifi drivers. But I can not connect to WEP wireless networks and I had to use WEP because it's what we use on our office network. Anyone can help me configure wep wireless?
