    IPX/SPX Protocol for Linux?

Is it possible to install IPX/SPX on Kubuntu? It's not listed in Adept, and so far my Google searches have been fruitless.

Trying to add this box to a LAN game that requires this rather outdated protocol. Any help?

Well, after googling 'ipx linux', I came up with this:

    http://tldp.org/HOWTO/IPX-HOWTO.html

BTW, ncpfs is in the repositories. I don't know if/how this works, but looks like a good starting point.

      Re: IPX/SPX Protocol for Linux?

      Thanks, that's helpful.

      So far I've done this:

In Konsole -> sudo apt-get ipx

Then (after reading Greg Pages notes, found in USR/Share/Doc/IPX as a README), still in Konsole ->
      IPX_Configure

What I appear to need is the Net number and node so that I can run IPX_Internal_net and manually add those values.

If I figure this out, I'll post my findings here. Any other help is appreciated.
