Hi,
I have been using vsftp on both my home machines (amd64 pc and a laptop) and it was working just fine even after the upgrade to 8.04. Now after a couple of the smaller upgrades, I try to ftp from one system to another and it keeps telling me my password is incorrect. I can't even ftp to the same machine I am on without getting the same message. I know my passwords are correct cause they work for everything else I need them for so this is definitely something with vsftp. I checked the vsftp.conf file and nothing has changed in there either.
Has anyone else run into issues with vsftp and 8.04?

Hi,
Well it seems that the problem has been resolved. This morning I did and apt-get upgrade and afterwards tried ftp and this time it worked on both machines. On one machine (pc) several libs and bash was upgrade and on the other (laptop) just bash.
Can't really say what fixed it but I'm glad it's working again.
