Broadcom 4318...How can I set it up to use original firmware?

I pefer to use original firmware instead of ndiswrapper. I think in ubuntu I just installed some package and it automatically installed the firmware I needed not exactly sure though. If there was such a package in ubuntu, I should be able to do it in Kubuntu right?

I was pleasantly surprised with hardy, I too have a 4318

    Code:
06:02.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
and it is happily supported under the latest restricted drivers, works a dream, no need for ndiswrapper.

Just say yes to use it, but be connected via a cable so you can download the firmware which has to be downloaded from openwrt.
