I'm brand new to Linux/Kubuntu. I can play around with Windows just enough to break things.
I recently (Friday) installed the latest version of Kubuntu. As a default, the screen resolution was set to 1680x1050. I changed it to 1280x960 to save my eyesight. Now, every time I reboot, the resolution reverts to 1680x1050. All I have to do to change it to 1280x960 is to go to System Settings>Display. As soon as I get there, the resolution changes to what I set it for (without further clicking).
Any suggestions?
