    KDE 4.1.1 won't boot

I just upgraded from KDE 4.1.0 to 4.1.1

I tried rebooting and I get this output:
    Code:
    Starting up...
    Loading, please wait
    usplash: setting mode 1152x864 failed
    usplash: using mode 1024x768
    kinit: name_to_dev_t(/dev/disk/by_uuid/177f375e-1ec7-4bec-9ca7-670ccbf75357)=sbd1 (8, 17)
kinit: trying to resume from /dev/disk/by_uuid/177f375e-1ec7-4bec-9ca7-670ccbf75357
kinit: No resume image, doing normal boot...

    Ubuntu 8.04.1 ********-desktop tty1

    ********-desktop login:_
I tried fixing X in the recovery mode. Tried restarting KDE. I don't really know what to do here. PLEASE HELP! I can't use linux because of this and it makes me sad.
