I thought I'd give it a try - so I installed 4.1 alongside 3.5 - but it's not yet for me...
(Can't resize icons on the panel, can't configure size/layout of taskbar, can't get usb automounting to work, can't shift the plasma foot-shaped thing in the top right, can't change colour of the panels without changing whole desktop theme... Linux shouldn't be about so many "can't"s)
So... How can I remove 4.1? I want to get rid of all the applications flagged as KDE4 too (Otherwise I get menus full of "File Manager (Dolphin)"+"File Manager (KDE4) (Dolphin)"
Bright ideas on a post-card.
