Amarok 2 on KDE 4.1

I installed the amarok-kde4 together with the amarok-xine, but amarok cannot just start up: after the splash screen, it comes out with the error msg: "A Fatal Error Occurred
The application Amarok (amarok) crashed and caused the signal 6 (SIGABRT).
Please help us improve the software you use by filing a report at http://bugs.kde.org. Useful details include how to reproduce the error, documents that were loaded, etc."
I know it's beta version, but is this a bug?

I simply upgraded via adept to the kde4 version and it works well. Annoyingly the keyboard shortcut for forward,backand stop are not there and play/pause replaced with the space. And I can no longer control amarok via my multimedia keyboard buttons.
