Stumpt the experts again or so it would seem. Ahh too bad. Dirty shame. Well the mssg is clear.
Sorry I'm not apes over linux/Kubuntu. It isn't for using. It's a fixer upper. A never ending hobby. There seems to be a difficulty for every solution.
Well Goof, not everyone trying to help here claims to be an expert. In addition, not many trying to help here are here for the purpose of being a target for someone to try and stump. Lots of people won't want to take up a challenge, like your second post appears to make, even though they spend a lot of time trying to help others because they want to "give back" for the freedom of Open Source Software.
It always enhances one's chances of getting help to provide as much information as possible. For example, what have you tried and what happened. Why was this a "reinstall" in the first place, were you trying to chase a problem by reinstalling? Did you see any error messages along the way?
Even if you have a problem with Kubuntu, that is not all "Linux". Perhaps some other distro, would be more to your liking or easier for you to use. There are distro releases that are based on more "stable" binaries and kernels, but they mostly don't have the newer features that Kubuntu provides and that people seem to want.
