ok i have been at this for hours with no positive results...my problem is kubuntu will not complete install.....i can make it all the way to choosing user name and password and after i press forward it automatically boots the live cd.....the same happens if i try to install from desktop or from initial boot....i even tried ubuntu and the same exact problem happens...i have checked the discs and both checked out.....im running out of options...its really frustrating being that i have installednumerous times with both discs....any help would b appreciated.....im using kubuntu kde remix

i booted without the disc and now i get a grub error....i dont see how cause i already deleted my partitions and started from scratchComment

If your using the latest Intrepid edition then, download Kubuntu 8.04 and try that.
There are some bugs in the Intrepid installerComment
