I can't install packages upgrade

After downloading all packages and i press full upgrade and apply change. But it always display that there're error at linux-image-2.6.24-19-generic file.
And here is error message:"There was an error commting change. Possibly there was a problem downloading some packages or the commit would break packages"
Please help me quickly!

Try:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

You will have to kill Apt first.

I do that but it still has error. IT install 50% and display messager again.When I run update manager, it display error: Signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
When I run Update Manager-Software Updates, after downloading all packages, it display error when install update. Here is its message error:"E:/var/cache/apt/archives/lunix-image-2.6.24-19.41-i386.deb. Unable to make back up link of './boot/vmlunix-2.6.24-19-generic' before installing new version"
Please help me! Very urgent!

I'm afraid that i have no idea what to suggest, something seems to be broken somewhere.

I hope that someone with more knowledge than myself (not hard to acheive ) will drop in soon and help you.

Do you have Wubi with FAT ?

Googling with that error message reveals:

> vfat : wubi 8.04.1-rev506 kernel upgrade fails
> unable to make backup link of `./boot/vmlinuz-2.6.24-19-generic' before installing new version
