Changing audio chipset <Solved>

I had a hardware meltdown. I have moved all my hardware (disk drive, video card, memory, etc.) to a VERY similar chassis, The only difficulty I am having is the sound chip set is different. I get an error saying that the chip set doesn't work, falling back to a different chip set. Sound then works just fine.

So I guess the question really is, how do I make Kubuntu scan the hardware and set the chipset to the correct one? I am using KDE 4.1.

Greatful for any help.
Thanks

Edit:
Solution: System settings> Under Computer Administration Section > Sound
Moved identified audio chips up to the top of the "preferred list".

Re: Changing audio chipset <Solved>

Linux has trouble with Realtek Sound chips.
It loves Creative Labs. (considering Creative DOES support Linux!)
Work it out, from there.
