On a totally fresh Hardy install, I've just gotten Kpowersave to work for the first time. I assumed it would work through the Hibernate/standby buttons visible at powerdown - which have never done anything for me in Gutsy, In Hardy, I installed Kpowersave, and they are still useless. One has to hibernate through the kpowersave tray icon. This is totally unexpected and strange. Am I missing some information? I googled and searched the forums on Kpowersave, and didn't come up with anything useful.
Thanks.
