OK. Since going to all KDE4 on my Desktop, one thing I've noticed. When booting, I get the Kubuntu loading Splash. First the Back and Forth Progress Bar and then the Growing Progress Bar. However, when I shutdown, I get all the Text based stuff, not the Kubuntu Splash.
On my Laptop, I updated from GG to HH 3.5.9. The opposite is true here. I boot and get the Back and Forth Progress Bar and then it kicks out to all text instead of the Growing Progress Bar. When I shutdown, I get the Kubuntu Splash.
What is going on here? Am I the only one experiencing this? If so, does anyone know how to rectify this?
