update to kde 4.0.4

I have kubuntu hardy with kde 3 installed.
Is is possible to upgrade to kde 4 other than thru the upgrading process. Since my internet is quite slow , I would like to download it somewhere else and copy to cd and then upgrade my existing installation.
Is that possible ?

You might be able to install it from the Alternate CD. AFAIK it has the necessary packages, but only the default ones I'm afraid.

If you want to install more packages, your best bet is probably APT on CD.
