8.04 Hardy Heron on TOSHIBA L30-10T power jack problem after configuration

TOSHIBA Satellite L30-10T
Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 (1.73GHz, 1MB L2, 533MHz FSB)
HD 80GB - RAM 1024MB - Display Lcd 15,4" Wide
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g - Video Card ATI Xpress 200M 256MB HyperMemory

I've installed and configurated hardy, everything works fine but when I try to turn on my pc with power jacks it stops loading after few seconds. When I started with power jack everything works fine, but it is oging to crash after I switch off my power jack? What problem is about??
-How Can I solve this problem?? Anyone as got similar problem?

Hi!

I have the same problem but with a vaio laptop. If I try to boot into the system with the power jack connected, it stops in the very beginning. But if I do boot with the power jack not connected everything works just fine. The same when shutting off computer; it doesn't shut off if the power jack is connected. It seems something related with acpi. Sorry i am now at work. Later I'll post the message error that i get when trying to boot with power jack connected. I was surfing the forums trying to find a solution for this problem. It is kind of funny error but very annoying though!
