    Re: Firefox 3 BETA

FF3 broke java for me, and there's no sun java 6 plugin for AMD64 yet. On the other hand, it fixed drop down sub-menus with site colours disallowed, a problem since FF1. Otherwise no trouble.

        Re: Firefox 3 BETA

An anonymous reader writes "Wired.com is reporting that the Firefox browser has been unknowingly distributing a trojan with the Firefox Vietnamese language pack. Over 16,000 downloads of the pack occurred since being infected. This highlights a risk on relying on user-submitted Firefox extensions, or a lack of peer-review of the extensions, many of which receive frequent upgrades."

Just as well that I wasn't forced to take a firefox "upgrade" with the 8.04 release... what oh no I was forced to take this "upgrade" just because I was looking for a little long term support

Argh >! spoke too soon. Just started getting the stalls referred to in the Ubuntu forums. FF3 hangs for up to 30 s or so.

It's really strange. I've not had that problem. I really enjoy FF3. I wonder what it could be?
