Finally go in and took fo ever to get to a download page. My Download rate was 15 kbps!!

Do you think it could the driver, I had similar problems with my adept manager it just went from
114 (118 is my highest bit rate) to 50, but my web browser works fine.
Just wierd

I would say it was more due to their servers being overloaded with mass downloads

I'm downloading right now alternate KD4 cd. I'm getting 70kBps.
I could not get on the Kubuntu site at work at all. I was hoping to see more of a fanfare about the release.
It would be cool to know how many downloads happened today?

BTW: Why is kubuntu.com not linking to this site or at least list the CD-Torrent (not the DVD)?

Yeah, I think they were a bit overrlaoded.
Mine took two hours at 30kbs last night.

I'm downloading KDE4 Remix i386 and AMD64 right now. I'm at 65% on both at a little over 1.5 hours. Avg about 55 kbps. Way better than yesterday.

Totally agree my download ran through the night and at times it was as if I were back on dial-up.

This is the most interest in Kubuntu that I've seen (based on the speed). The KDE4 site was the worst up until 4 hours ago. Got my others downloaded.
