I need some help explaining this.
I have 2 IDE drives on my computer.
One is a 320Gb drive, where I keep my OS, and the one I am trying to load Kubuntu on.
The other is a 250Gb drive that is formated NTFS, with data I can not afford to lose.
When I unplug my 250Gb drive, and try to install Kubuntu, it will not see my 320Gb hard drive. Just for grins, I tired to run the installer with the 250Gb drive hooked up. It found both drives without a problem.
So here is my big question, why would it cause a problem if I disconnect a drive?
Thanks for any help!
