    Adept Update Implosion

I'm running Kubuntu 8.04 beta, and I used Adept this afternoon to do an upgrade - can't remember what all was to be updated, but I think KNetworkManager may have been included, various other bits and pieces, as well as updated Linux kernel and header files.

Adept was unable to complete the commit, failing about halfway through. System was still running fine, however.

Eventually, I decided to do a full power down and reboot to see how badly things may have been hammered. System boots fine, says I'm on 2.6.24-16, but I have zero internet connectivity. The ath0 device isn't recognized and of course, KNetworkManager and KWifiManager see nothing.

Where do I go from here?

    Thanks.

    Re: Adept Update Implosion

Never mind! The case is solv-ed - no minkey-business!

    The usual...
    sudo dpkg --configure -a
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade

has everything in the pink once again.
