    Upgrade from gutsy goes wrong.

After having a few problems like stuff in /etc/apt/sources.list.d (There should really be a big fat warning about that, alot of people have kde repositories there.) I managed to start upgrading using the built in tool. However, it doesn't install libssl. First some dialog about restarting servers using libssl comes up but then some error dialog appears. I figure I'll do as I have before, kill the upgrader before it wrecks everything as it doesn't stop, it just continues to break package after package after an error. And then install libssl manually from the apt cache. But here comes something funny, apparently sudo doesn't work anymore!
    Code:
sudo: unable to resolve host <HostNameHere>
So, is there a simple way of going around this or do I have to boot a live cd and go through all the damn trouble of enabling dmraid and chroot into my install to install libssl?

A little warning for people about to upgrade, make sure /etc/apt/sources.list.d is empty or nonexistant and make sure you enable the root user for any trouble that may occur.

EDIT: Well it took a few hours but now I've managed to fix it. I chrooted to the installation and ran apt-get dist-upgrade a few times and fixed all the problems that came up. And I also had to add my computers name beside localhost in /etc/hosts because of some strange reason. Right now my mouse doesn't work but that's probably because some udev evdev rules got overwritten or something.

EDIT2: Okay this is just ridiculous, I can only say don't install hardy heron. After playing around a bit with the new desktop effects tool suddenly many keyboard buttons have been #&%$ed up! Right now I can't use the arrow keys, arrow up starts ksnapshot. Delete doesn't work and well nothing works as it should. Everything is really #&%$ed up. THe print screen button is mapped to Delete and Windows button isn't working. I really want to kill someone for this...

EDIT3: Figured the keyboard mapping thing out, had to remove .kde/share/config/kxkbsometing. Whenever I enable the layout switcher it messes everything up.
Working...
