    HH gone after today's update

    Here we go again.

The now daily update went terribly wrong. Would not apt-get update/grade/ install etc. from console.

... there come the plumber. Shut down, and later -

    I get to:

    Code:
    setting sensor limits - fail
at startup. It does not matter - normal or safe mode boot; the computer refuses to boot.

It's ok with Gutry and W2000, so it must be the update, right?

What can I do? Try saving the /home directory and reinstall? Or is there some way I can get to the command line prompt, log in and try the different update etc.?

    prolly this:

    http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...;boardseen#new

If you can get booted to the CLI, (and depending where on the earth you are) they say that the fix is already being distributed to the repos. If you are in North America, that means "tonight sometime" ....

      [EDIT]
      After the PANIC mode:

Downloading, reading, printing and doing what the first link said:

I'm back on Hardy Heon. No upgrades for the first few days, right?

        Good job, Nils! 8)

I'm seeing upgrades daily, multiple times, so ... tomorrow will probably bring some more drama interesting developments.
