have an on board nVidia graphics card. Since Ubuntu went to live cd installers I have a terrible time installing. I want to install Hardy Heron x86_64. What do I add to boot options so I can have a xserver? I need for it to use vesa instead of nv.

Popatopalous you blithering idiot. Boot Hardy Desktop live cd. Select >F4>Safe Graphics Mode and install Hardy. The developers in their ongoing attempt to confuse old farts like you have moved 'Safe Graphics Mode' from the main menu to the line at the bottom under 'F4 Modes'. Team Metamucil strikes out again.
