What happened? If you can run Hardy Heron, you should be able to run KDE 4 if you want to.

That was a few weeks ago when everyone was having problems. First broken dependencies, and then later, KDE4 seemed to install OK, but would not start a KDE4 session.

I'm happy to wait... I am only using Hardy because I am new to KDE (usually use gnome or xfce ubuntu), so decided if I was going to check it out, I may as well look at the new version.
I had tried and been disappointed with KDE a few years ago, but I have liked this version so much that I am now using it daily instead of my main, stable system.
