    kdm after todays update???

What is wrong with the kdm after todays update?

First of all the ugly background (which I already ranted about elsewhere)

Second the startscreen background shows bits of my kde4 desktop mixed with protions of my kde3.5.8 desktop.

I had to change that to none.

Since I couldn't change the background from syssettings->login in manager->background (apply button grayed out) I changed it in recovery mode and get the ugly gray kde login (user) manager on top of my nice background.
How can I get that (nice) transparent user manager back?

With a lot of people testing HH with kde4 this background clashes to terribly with the nice kde4 with this mess of blue blobs.

    Any ideas?

Yeah, the background only seems to appear under the greeter window. I tried to change it in systemsettings but alas, it is required to launch using kdesudo, so when you go to the background tab under "background" and try to launch the file manager icon to pick a background, an error pops up. I tried to switch to the themed mode with "oxygen" as my choices and it seemed to stay ugly after a logout/login.
