If I want KDE4..

I want to be able to use KDE 4 now, and only KDE 4.
What gutsy CD should I install? The KDE4 RC2? Will this allow me to install / eventually upgrade to the final KDE4.0?

I'd recommend waiting for a few more days. KDE 4.0 is set to be officially released on the 11th, and Kubuntu packages for that will soon follow. I'm not particularly certain how soon Gutsy packages will arrive, since Hardy gets the packages first.

In any case, once released, a more permanent repository for KDE 4 packages will be provided (probably in gutsy-backports, compared to the current PPA repository). You just add or enable that repository, install the necessary kde4 packages (instructions will be given), and then you'll be able to start a full KDE 4 session from the login screen, or even run KDE 4 apps from within a KDE 3 session.

So please hold on tight in the days to come.

Okey.. they are saying that kde4 is released.. well at least the counter on their website says it's today. How long till it's released on gutsy?
