Scanace slide scanner and WINE.

Is anyone bored enough to help me with getting a Pacific Image Electronics Primefilm 1800u slide scanner working, please? They sometimes go under the name Plustek. The scanner isn't supported by XSane, Kooka etc so I thought I'd try WINE.

This won't work either! I need to use the scanner quickly (I'm a finalist in a photography competition in a week) and the scans are good quality when working.

The install button on the menu doesn't respond, by the way! No buttons do. Nor will "install.exe".

I've included some screenshots of what's on the driver CD. If anyone can help (I'm fairly new to Linux and Kubuntu 8.04) I'd really appreciate it...
