[SOLVED] Asus X58-L with INTEL G965 X3100 GRAPHIC PROBLEMS.

Hello dear friends,
I'm new, my name is Marco and i'm from Italy.

I gotta a prob., i recentely purchased a new ASUS X58L that haves this damn video card, an INTEL GM965 / X3100. The driver in the control panel are "vesa".

System installed: Kubuntu 8.04

The problem i have with video card is not that i can't see anything, is that it haves a strange.. "split" , i have attacched a PNG for make clear what i wanna mean, and xorg.conf configuration.

Anything you need to know, please ask me, i will reply you! and thanks you in advance for the futhure help.

I've solved the problem in that way

I changed to xorg.conf file in that way:

Section "Device"
Identifies "Configured Video Device"
Option "monitor-TV" "TV"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Configured Monitor"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "TV"
Option "Ignore" "True"
EndSection

Saved, rebooted X by ctrl+alt+backspace and all gone fine.
