[Solved] USB Pendrive stopped automounting

Hi,

Kubuntu 8.04 on dell-vostro-1710 laptop

Automounting of USB Pen drive has stopped.

Today morning I connected a pen drive to usb drive and copied some
files on it successfully.

Now in noon i connected another pendrive but its not automounting

What may be the problem ?

Its detected but not mounted automatically how can I mount it manually if its not
mounting automatically.

At night @ 23:30 once again i tried same pen drive with
no modifications to OS or Pendrive Surprisingly It started automounting

Any body want to comment on this ?

I am not in position to believe such functioning but its a fact
i would appreciate if somebody could give reasoning for this

I am latest convert to linux should I Believe Linux or not ? is a million dollar question
with win XP i have never experienced such a problem though i faced lot of
other problems so I shifted to Kubuntu.
