    Nvidia Drivers for 9800GT

    Hi all

    Is it possible to get the nvidia driver for the above card via adept / synaptic, or do I have to update to Feisty?

    I'm aware that I can use the drivers by manually installing them, but don't really want to have to fiddle around when there's a new Kernel etc...

    (I'm presuming here the nvidia drivers in the repositories for hardy don't support the card as my 7600GT worked fine and I presumed this would be a drop in replacement )

    Looks like the nvidia driver isn't going to work yet with this card? If so is there anyway I can get off a 600xwhatever resolution without using them?

      I can't believe the new 180.22 driver wouldn't run that card perfectly:
