t41 video resolution

    t41 video resolution

    Hi,

    I have a thinkpad T41 with a ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500] video. Now when I installed Hardy 8.04 from cd I am positive that the resolution I had was higher than the 1024x768 I have now. I can't seem to be able to go higher than that. Has anyone had any luck getting higher than 1024x768?
    I have tried to choose a different driver from the list but it always goes back to 1024x768.....

    Hi ppberns,

    I've got a T41, grand little machine! But max the resolution is set at 1024x768 - I'd bet my grandmother's toenail on that one...

      I hope your grandma is walking ok ........ :-) I was afraid of that answer. Only thing is that when I loaded it from the cd, I coulda sworn it was at a higher res. Maybe I was hoping a little to much. And yep even with that it's still a great little box.
