USB 4-port Hub

Got the latest updates for Hardy and one of my USB 4-port hubs stopped working with USB pen drives. Printers and scanners and a floppy drive work just fine. Just not USB pen drives.

It's an Inland USB 2.0 4 port hub.

I have another 4 port hub that works fine with the USB pen drives as well as everything else.

I have been able to swap the accessories on the two hubs and have a working arrangement back, so this isn't critical.

Just wondering if this is a known problem with some 4 port hubs?

As I say, it worked fine until this latest update.

Don't know if the problem has been solved or not. Don't even know if the problem was/is s/w or h/w. There have been 2 or 3 more upgrades for various things, so cannot rule out s/w as the source for the problem.

When I booted today, the 4 port hub is working again.

Hopefully the problem is gone to never return.
