Connecting Mobile Phone to PC - Bluetooth?

    Hi,

I need to work out how to connect my mobile phone (Samsung SGH-A412) to my PC.

I run Kubuntu 8.04. I know 8.10 is about to come out but I thought I'd better ask now.

I can connect my phone to my PC with a USB cable. The phone recognises that it is connected to a computer but that is about all. I can't "access" the computer from the phone and nowhere does my computer show up a mobile phone as another storage device (like an mp3 player).

I'm assuming that I have to set up some form of Bluetooth thingy so that the phone, when connected to the computer, can recognise a bluetooth connection through the USB cable.

    Any ideas?
