    Resolution problem.

    Hi.
I'm trying to get my Kubuntu 8.04 to work on my Samsung 40" HDTV. I have a Nvidia 8500 GT videocard and the newest nvidia driver. My problem is that the screen seems "too small" for the resolution (1920x1080), and it looks like the last outer centimeter of the desktop is not shown. In other words, when I maximize a window I can't see the titlebar, scrollbar (right-side) and the leftside of the window. I also can't see the whole panel at the bottom. If I change the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1600x1024, I can see the whole desktop but it will not fill the whole screen.
I have tried to google this problem with no luck, and I'm no expert when it comes to xorg.
    Any idea??
