Running a Brother HL-1440 laser printer on Hardy 8.04. Works great, but orientation has not been selectable. I get portrait, with no option to go to landscape - the option's simply grayed-out. I've had this problem for a while.
I've explored system settings for printers, and don't see a way to address this issue. Surely it isn't something that requires an administrative account to address! I've also search the KB forum archives, and curiously enough this issue doesn't seem to appear. Not good.
I'm not sure what to do next.
Any ideas about how to fix this or to find a solution?
