    installing a webcam

I have a V-gear TalkCam webcam...I also have the driver CD. I tried to follow the instructions for EasyCam on Kubuntu to get the camera working, but it didn't work. So, what's the easiest way to install this webcam? Under system info, Kubuntu recognizes that I have a webcam plugged in via USB, but other than that, I cant use it. Any help would be much appreciated!

Try just plug it and use it in kopete (Configurations -> Configures -> Devives).

I also suggest you to try camemorama.
      Kubuntu 15.10 - Asus All-in-one (i3, 4GB ram)
