Hello all I have bought this tv tuner card that is really fighting with me. I have google'd the end of the internet on this I think haha. Ok I emailed the company that makes it and received the following information
We have no driver for Linux. Chipset of this tuner is
Philips
SAA7131E/03/G
CG4807
SE3094.1
TtG06392
Maybe it helps to you.
I have learned about switching the tuner and card type and even got a script that increments tuner and went. I have tryed a few different card types but now and then I get a saa7134_empress module that will not unload and I have to reboot linux so it is hard to try every one. With tv time as I switch the cards input it works on most card types I have used v4l2-ctl and switched frequencies standards all of that. I have tryed loading it in mplayer but I just get an error about seek failed whenever I try it. Tvtime seems the best way to go. This card is working properly in windows vista. Any help would of course be appreciated it seems the chipset is supported by my linux kernel just got to figure out which one to use I have found the following site seems related
