    add printer in kde4

after going to the kmenu and clicking on settings, I see all kinds of options, under appearance, desktop, etc. However, printing is not there. I want to install a network printer, where do i look?

Try the CUPS Web Interface. That's what I've been using in KDE4 at the moment to do that.

    Code:
    http://localhost:631/

In 4.1 RC1 I (still) have to use
      Code:
      kcmshell printers
to globally change printer settings... anything done in individual applications is ignored.

Anything I need to do different to get (say) okular to print landscape or whatever? I get sick of needing to edit CUPS.

[That KDE Control Module is just a nicer front end to CUPS]

Do you have the HP Printer ToolBox installed? It seems to work pretty good for me, though I do have to say I have a HP Printer.
